Biological Mass Energy Extraction & Recovery
The BioMEER Process is covered by a “Process Patent” which utilizes the chemical reaction of Alkaline Hydrolysis. Alkaline Hydrolysis by itself cannot be patented. There are 2 methods currently registered to handle animal carcasses and tissues. Ours is unique for several reasons:
- Our process does not use a basket to collect bones and indigestible materials. During the Dehydration Cycle, we blend all these materials into a single product for energy generation.
- Our process uses a massive “Paddle Mixer” system to blend and agitate the products during the process. Unlike pump systems which tend to have seal failures, our process remains sealed and contained inside the vessel at all times.
- Because we have less foaming than with a “Pump Jet” system, we are able to consume all the chemical during Hydrolysis, resulting in much less chemical being required. This results in less cost per pound.
- Unlike a “Waste Digestor,” BioMEER is designed to create a cash flow from “Rendered” products that can be used, in some cases, to offset the entire cost of operations. Both the recovered water and the solids are usable products.
- Because BioMEER is a much simpler process, your capital costs, operational costs, and labor costs are greatly reduced.

- BioMEER also has the ability to adjust the end products for multiple uses. Any degree of moisture in the final product can be achieved with a simple selection on the console – from a very wet end product for composting to a dry, grindable product application.
- BioMEER also utilizes a vacuum system to remove moisture and odors from the vessel. Ammonia is pulled from the top and encapsulated in the recovered water. This eliminates most of the offensive odors associated with “Tissue Processing”.
- By use of a “Final Filter” BioMEER eliminates the last remaining odors leaving the area free from issue.
