BioMEER by Hydrol-Pro Technologies Inc. More Environmentally Friendly

Hydrol-Pro Technologies, Inc.

Company Background

  • Hydrol-Pro Technologies, Inc. was founded in March 2002 for the purpose of supporting the animal disposal industry as an independent service organization working in cooperation with WR2, and assisting customers with design criteria separate from any manufacturer. From pre-2002 position of Vice President of engineering for WR2, the founder of Hydrol-Pro assisted in developing original WR2 product concepts.
  • Our extensive process engineering background, combined with field experience of working with tissue digesters permitted the advancement of the Digester technology.
  • With a rising demand for service on WR2 products, Hydrol-Pro Technologies, Inc. decided that what the industry needed was a totally new product attitude concerning the Alkaline Hydrolysis process.
  • Our process, called BioMEER, has evolved Alkaline Hydrolysis to a higher, more efficient level. Now referred to as Advanced Alkaline Hydrolysis Technology
  • Alkaline Hydrolysis has been used for centuries in many different applications. It is now recognized as the leader in the destruction of infectious agents in animal carcasses. Recently, it was proven that the Hydrolysis reaction could be accelerated by increasing the temperature and pressure. However, it created a problematic waste stream resulting in higher costs for labor and disposal.
  • Enter the “Dry Waste Discharge Digester from BioMEER”. The solution is to "Render" the carcass energy for harvest. By separating the components, we are able to individually collect those components for recycling or deposit the solids safely in a municipal landfill site.
  • The collected solids can be also used to accelerate composting. Early testing shows a huge reduction in the "Turn- around time of composting“ , by this supplementation of nitrites and carbons. The collected liquid condensate from the process has had positive results lately when used on a composting pile where the reaction was accelerated approx. 600%.
  • There are Bio-Fuel production sites being developed where the fuel produced from BioMEER solid waste can be added to petroleum based fuels to reduce the petroleum production requirements.

BioMEER transforms waste into energy.
